This turbo features a 4" ported housing with drilled anti-surge for better flow, a 63mm 7x7 SXE style compressor wheel with extended tip technology, and a 70mm SXE style turbine wheel. The KC300x is a reliable journal bearing drop in turbo perfect for increasing your 7.3 Powerstroke's performance. 

This turbo will surprise you at how much it will wake up your 7.3! We have torture tested it for longevity, proven its capability on the dyno, and at the Race Track. The 1.0 A/R Housing is intended to cool your EGTs above 3000 RPMS. For dedicated tow rigs and daily drivers, the .84 A/R Housing will provide a quicker spool and cooler EGT's below 3000 RPMs.

**EXHAUST BRAKES:  We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos.  We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues.  These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking.  This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended.  It will be up to the customer to verify fitment and functionality.**

**Pictured is a polished cover, these turbos come sand cast unless specifically requested. You may get a polished unit depending on stock. You can add a polished cover for an additional $250. Two week lead time on all polished covers**

**Our turbos are designed to fit directly in 7.3 equipped pick-up trucks. Although our turbos can drop into 7.3 equipped Vans, you will need to modify the turbo intake boot and down-pipe for proper fitment**

performs better than I could have imagined

Amazing products, let’s be honest getting a new turbo in a 7.3 after 230k miles is a pain, but we’ll worth the labor and the cost was great as well. Sounds and performs better than I could have imagined. Would come back to these guys again and again.

Love it!

Installed this turbo in our 1997 7.3L Diesel Swapped F350. WOW. love this thing. even with just a 4" straight pipe you can really hear it sing. Builds boots really fast, and clears the smoke up quickly in my race tune with 180/30 single shot injectors. We went with the smaller exhaust housing for better towing performance and are really pleased with how well this turbo boosts towing performance while keeping EGTs in check.

spooled beautifully

Stage 1 300x spooled beautifully from ME to CA hauling a 26ft trailer very impressed with the performance of my truck towing vs the 38r I had before. Hit a pretty knarley blizzard in Utah got a flat didn't even know till I heard it I put it to the test with 3600+ miles in the first week or so and it didn't let me down.

Talk about stepping up to the plate and taking care of a non customer.. Of course it's a friday at 530 pm...kc answers the phone and says come on over well check it out. They took care of everything after hours. Thoroughly impressed with these guys .

We always try to help out with what we can, some things are out of our control however.

Nice turbo upgrade!

Decided if I’m not going to get a new truck, I might as well upgrade the old 1995 and hang onto it.
So I installed this KC turbo along with bellowed up pipes and 180/30 injectors.
Really good combination. Truck runs really smooth and actually quieter running down the hiway.
I Noticed at least a 150 degree egt drop and starts spooling up nicely around 1900 rpm.
Not much of turbo “whistle” like a wicked wheel but I sure like the smoothness of the truck now.
