Description
Are you ready for the for the fastest spooling, most powerful stage 2 turbo on the market? We have spent years redeveloping and testing our new Gen 2 KC Jetfire Stage 2 Gen 2 Dual Ball Bearing turbo and it is finally for sale on the open market.
This is a real game changer for the 6.0 world. A dual ball bearing stage 2 vgt turbo that is a 100% drop in application and is guaranteed to spool faster and make more power than any other stage 2 turbo on the market.
This turbo works great on stock injectors, but is capable of 600-650hp with larger injectors and supporting mods. It has great street manners and will make your truck feel lighter and more fun to drive.
EXHAUST BRAKES: We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos, these will retain the OEM feature if the vehicles calibration allows and is setup for it. We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues. These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking. This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended.
Check out the video below where one of our customers races a modded mustang. He ran a 7.8 at 89mph in the 1/8 mile (which translates to 12.3 at 110mph in the 1/4 mile)
These have the same 300x turbine and compressor wheel technology and bigger badder dual ball bearings.

I dropped this drop-in 64mm monster into my bulletproofed 2004 Ford Excursion, and it completely revolutionized how this heavy SUV drives.🚀
Instant, Neck-Snapping Throttle Response. The magic here is the dual ball-bearing cartridge combined with the redesigned 73x66mm quick-spool turbine wheel. If you are running stock injectors like me, you know the fear of low-end lag. With this setup, the dead zone is entirely gone. The turbo lights up almost instantly off the line. When you smash the pedal, it pulls like a freight train all the way through the RPM range.
Absolute Tow Monster. I coupled this hardware with custom 5 Star Tuning maps to haul my 1988 Cobalt boat trailer eastbound across the country. It is an absolute dream. On steep highway inclines, the truck locks its torque converter early and holds overdrive smoothly. No gear hunting. No struggle. Best of all, my sustained Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) stay safely locked between 1,100°F and 1,200°F under heavy loads, giving me a huge safety cushion.🎵 The Iconic 10-Blade Scream. Let’s talk about the sound. The 10-blade configuration delivers that legendary, crisp 2003-style jet-engine whistle under acceleration and at a warm idle. It gives the truck an aggressive sound that turns heads everywhere, but it settles down perfectly at cruising speeds so you don't get punished by cabin drone on long road trips.
Final Verdict: Worth Every Penny. This turbo is flawless. It breathes easily, runs cool, and turns a heavy tow rig into a highly responsive, fun-to-drive hot rod. Don't hesitate—buy it!
Everything about this turbo was perfect and I loved it when I had my truck. Unfortunately about a month after install my truck was stolen and totaled the next day. I recommend this turbo to anyone who wants a great turbo for stock injectors or upgraded. If you have a 6.0, install a kill switch.
I feel it is a good turbo wish it was a lot louder. My stock 10 blade turbo whistled louder than this new Jetfire 2. That was my wife's first comment when i brought her out to show her. "Thats It" we were both expecting this awesome jet fire noise and it is actually quitter than her stock turbo we removed. Performance wise is spools instantly there is minimal to no lag this turbo lights amazing and can't wait to get a load behind her to see how she pulls. Overall it is a good turbo price seems a little high for what you get. Time will tell to see if it lasts.
Spools faster than stock. Pulls harder than stock. Sounds better than stock. What’s more to say? Kc turbos is the only company I run on my trucks and wouldn’t trust any other company over them!
Finally broke down and ordered the S2R to replace the 9 blade that I have been running. Install was straight forward and like all KC products fit and finish was perfect. The drivability that this turbo has makes the truck drive better then stock down low and pulls harder up top all while running cooler egts. Highly recommend this to everybody.
