Description: 

The KC Jetfire Stage 1 61mm turbo works great on stock injectors, it is specifically designed for guys looking to push stock injectors to the max without the extra lag of bigger turbos. This turbo is meant for the guys who tow heavy, want quick spool, more power, but don't want the extra lag associated with other larger stage 1.5/pmax/S2 turbos. 

**We recommend 50 state legal SCT tuning to go with your turbo**

**Polished covers can take a 1-2 week lead time**

NOTE: These turbos are based off of the 2004-2007 turbo mounting style, to run this on a 2003 pedestal we will have to cut off the 3rd mounting bracket on the back of the turbo.

EXHAUST BRAKES:  We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos, these will retain the OEM feature if the vehicles calibration allows and is setup for it. We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues.  These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking.  This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended.

Makes all the right noises, better spool & a bump in power. Great Turbo upgrade

Spool quicker. The turbo whistle is just enough to be louder than the stock 13blade however not obnoxious. There is a power difference between the stock and this one.
I have no complaints and the clocking of the turbo was perfect! I didn't have to modify a thing. Its nice that an aftermarket part is a true "Bolt On" part.

Great spool up

I recently did a full bullletproof on my 350 Dually work truck. Keep the injectors stock. When it came to the turbo I heard of KC turbo jet fire. So I decided to try the stage 1
9 blade and wasn’t satisfied with spool up performance so I switched to the 11 blade and that made a big difference in towing up hills.

Installed my new KC jet fire stage 1 9 blade today and I'm very impressed. The whistle is amazing and my egts are running lower. Awsome turbo.

Nice turbo

Received in a timely manner. Not a mechanic, I installed it myself. I’m impressed with the upgrade form stock. Would recommend the KC turbo to other 6.0 owners.

10 blade balanced kit

I’ installed the 10 blade turbine kit on my 06 6.0. Sounds amazing spools faster and very smooth. I’m constantly getting compliments. KC helped me and was very fast responding to my questions. I will definitely be back for more products in the future.
