Description:

This complete turbo and install kit will give you the ability to upgrade your 2011-2014 6.7 Powerstroke to the 2017+ style turbo. The 2017+ style journal bearing turbo is known for its robust reliability and noted for overcoming most of the shortcomings of the stock 2011-2014 ball bearing turbo. Until now, the only way to update your 6.7 Powerstroke to the newer style turbo, was an overly complicated "retrofit kit" from Ford Racing. We have designed the KC Warlock turbo to retrofit onto your engine in a fraction of the time and with much less modification than the Ford Racing Retrofit kit.

Three turbo options are available in this kit. Stages 1 & 2 KC Whistler turbo for moderate towing and street performance, Garrett F250/350 turbo for those who prefer to keep things stock.  

 EXHAUST BRAKES:  We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos, these will retain the OEM feature if the vehicles calibration allows and is setup for it. We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues.  These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking.  This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended.

    Great turbo kit

    Good kit But could be better

    The turbo is very well put together. It came packaged so well too. But We were told that we didn’t need anything else to put this thing together, but that was not true. We needed three v band clamps(those things are not cheap either). The o-ring for one of the tubes leaked after getting it all together. The bolt for the coolant tube was missing and their solution was to just take it off the new heat shield. So we ended up having to buy a new bolt for the missing one, but again all hardware was included is what they said and we didn’t need anything else, but we did. For the price you pay this should never happen. But I will give good shipping, it was fast and they do respond back quickly to email. Haven’t been able to drive the truck yet due to the leak. But will write back when we do to review the turbo and performance.

    Good kit but need clamps.

    The up pipe and down pipe exhaust clamps should come with the kit. Chances of being able to reuse the old clamps are very slim.
    Instructions provided by KC also lack steps so you may want to watch Thoroughbed diesels YouTube video for clarity.

    AMAZING

    Truck was already running excellent and very powerful, but..... with the addition of the Turbo KC whistler turbo and Warlock kit upgrade it is definitely a whole new animal.
    Love it! Amazing power. All the parts needed were included and easy to install if halfway mechanically inclined. Don't forget programming to complete the ensemble. And also, when you have the turbo and everything off, make sure to check exhaust manifold for broken studs! Excellent product!
