The stock map hose will get stiff from heat and boost pressure forcing it to crack and fracture causing boost pressure to leak. This throws codes, causes low boost pressure resulting in loss of power. The CSC map hose takes care of this by having a/n fittings at highest heat points preventing any issues with the line ever again. Each line comes with a lifetime warranty from manufacturing defects
