Description: 

The KC Jetfire Stage 1 61mm turbo works great on stock injectors, it is specifically designed for guys looking to push stock injectors to the max without the extra lag of bigger turbos. This turbo is meant for the guys who tow heavy, want quick spool, more power, but don't want the extra lag associated with other larger stage 1.5/pmax/S2 turbos. 

**We recommend 50 state legal SCT tuning to go with your turbo**

**Polished covers can take a 1-2 week lead time**

NOTE: These turbos are based off of the 2004-2007 turbo mounting style, to run this on a 2003 pedestal we will have to cut off the 3rd mounting bracket on the back of the turbo.

EXHAUST BRAKES:  We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos, these will retain the OEM feature if the vehicles calibration allows and is setup for it. We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues.  These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking.  This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended.

Let me first start off by saying I am absolutely amazed at the craftsmanship of this turbo…. It is literally a thing of beauty…. shipping was fast.. And as far as performance and power If you’re looking to really wake up your stock or lightly modified 6.0 power stroke diesel this is the turbo for you…. I absolutely love this turbo night and day difference between the Jetfire and stock turbo is up super fast and the 10 blade wheel Is a definite must have everywhere I go I get compliments on how the truck sounds because it sounds like a fighter jet about to takeoff. You cannot go wrong with this turbo. Highly recommended.!!!

Got a stage 1 put in after I blew my stock turbo driving from TX to Canada. Did realize how much of a difference it would make in my old motor. Love it!
