Description:
The KC Jetfire Stage 1 61mm turbo works great on stock injectors, it is specifically designed for guys looking to push stock injectors to the max without the extra lag of bigger turbos. This turbo is meant for the guys who tow heavy, want quick spool, more power, but don't want the extra lag associated with other larger stage 1.5/pmax/S2 turbos.
**We recommend 50 state legal Edge or SCT tuning to go with your turbo**

NOTE: These turbos are based off of the 2004-2007 turbo mounting style, to run this on a 2003 pedestal we will have to cut off the 3rd mounting bracket on the back of the turbo.
EXHAUST BRAKES: We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos, these will retain the OEM feature if the vehicles calibration allows and is setup for it. We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues. These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking. This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended.

Really love the turbo I can feel the difference…… but damn I should’ve gone with a 10 blade, that whistle with the 11 blade is a nice whistle but I want a more louder whistle I just love it so much THANK YOU KC !!!
My F550's reman Garrett stock replacement decided to devour itself and apparently break the shaft forcing me to upgrade. With the blessing of the gentleman I spoke to on the phone pulled the trigger on a Jetfire Stage 1 with the 11 blade. It arrived, I installed, and so far so good. Always paranoid about leaks and poor sealing but it went together smoothly and performance is decidedly better based on the few miles I've logged, so far so good. Next up will be the new tuner and monitor. I don't want to jinx it but looks like the Jetfire is working great and it's definitely a quality product.
I have it paired with Warren 155/30 injectors and Blessed tunes and this turbo is great and sounds mean.
