Description:
Improve your 7.3 Powerstroke engine's performance with the KC300x Stage 2 63/73 Gen 2 Turbo. This turbo features a 4" ported housing with drilled anti-surge for better flow, a 63mm 7x7 SXE style compressor wheel with extended tip technology, and a 73mm SXE style turbine wheel. The KC300x is a reliable journal bearing drop in turbo perfect for increasing your 7.3 Powerstroke's performance.
This turbo will surprise you at how much it will wake up your 7.3! We have torture tested it for longevity, proven its capability on the dyno, and at the Race Track. The 1.0 A/R Housing is intended to cool your EGTs above 3000 RPMS. For dedicated tow rigs and daily drivers, the .84 A/R Housing will provide a quicker spool and cooler EGT's below 3000 RPMs.

**We Highly Recommend adding these products for best results:**
- Upgrading your Up-Pipes
- Upgrading EBPV Pedestal
- Running a Hydra Programming Chip
**EXHAUST BRAKES: We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos. We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues. These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking. This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended. It will be up to the customer to verify fitment and functionality.**

**Pictured is a polished cover, these turbos come sand cast unless specifically requested. You may get a polished unit depending on stock. You can add a polished cover for an additional $250. Two week lead time on all polished covers**
**Our turbos are designed to fit directly in 7.3 equipped pick-up trucks. Although our turbos can drop into 7.3 equipped Vans, you will need to modify the turbo intake boot and down-pipe for proper fitment**

Great turbo spools quick and figment was perfect
Great product and makes tons of boost
So pleased I am ready to purchase another for my other truck!
1995 f-350 with 180cc/30% FFD injectors, stock hpop, baffled up pipes and all the turbo mods done, hydra chip with basic tunes, ZF5 transmission with a ceramic clutch rated for 500hp. Install was easy except for the fact the cold side intake was less than a half inch from the back side connector for the valve cover gasket, had to modify the supplied intake boot to get it to fit, the slightly bigger turbo fit much better on my MBMP 5 inch exhaust and solved all my exhaust leaks. I love how at idle I hear more engine sound than turbo but at high idle it screams compared to stock and sounds like a jet getting ready to take off. when you romp on it the spooling is just amazing. At 70mph at 2400-2600rpm I cruse around 7psi and quickly built to 12+psi and I drive like an old man. This turbo lets me bob and weave though traffic with how it increases the power being put out , takes a second but is quicker than the stock one in my opinion because of the increased power. I’m seeing about 10% better fuel economy on my basic “race” tunes as I still need to get tunes for the bigger turbo but I haven’t noticed any issues, no weird smoke or surging or rough idle. I baby my engine and transmission but I’ve seen about 15-20 psi unloaded compared to 5-7psi with the stock one, only ever got 10+psi going uphill and leaning into the skinny pedal on stock turbo. For 180cc trucks that tow I don’t think this turbo is good for heavy towing but for a daily driver this turbo is definitely worth it, skip the stage 1 and get the stage two, performance is day and night over stock without any extreme turbo lag, there’s some but it’s tolerable in my opinion and still feels extremely responsive at 2000rpm. The first thing in the list of “mods” done to the truck was the clutch and it was a nightmare to shift with stock engine parts, after bigger injectors and the turbo my shifting is crisp and doesn’t shutter if I don’t give it more fuel at low gears, never put it on a dyno but it is proof enough to me it’s pushing 400-450hp with just bolt on parts.
Spools quick, has plenty of power. I run it with 205/80 injectors with a stage 2 cam. Making about 550 wheel horsepower
