Increase the strength of the bottom end of your 7.3L Powerstroke with the high strength steel main plate girdle. This main plate girdle will hold your bearing caps more rigid from higher torque and prevent block twist and keep your main bearings in line.
Longer studs are for the center holes and shorter studs are for the outer holes. Please refer to ARP installation instructions in the documents tab to proper torque specs on the studs.
NOTICE:
Before installing this plate on your engine, use a calibrated straight edge across the top of the main caps to be sure they are all the same height. Some main caps may be higher and should be surface ground to the tops of the caps are all true/in-line so as to no distort the plate. Majority of the time the caps are very close to being true across.
