Description:
The KC Jetfire Stage 1 61mm turbo works great on stock injectors, it is specifically designed for guys looking to push stock injectors to the max without the extra lag of bigger turbos. This turbo is meant for the guys who tow heavy, want quick spool, more power, but don't want the extra lag associated with other larger stage 1.5/pmax/S2 turbos.
**We recommend 50 state legal Edge or SCT tuning to go with your turbo**
**Polished covers can take a 1-2 week lead time**
NOTE: These turbos are based off of the 2004-2007 turbo mounting style, to run this on a 2003 pedestal we will have to cut off the 3rd mounting bracket on the back of the turbo.
EXHAUST BRAKES: We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos, these will retain the OEM feature if the vehicles calibration allows and is setup for it. We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues. These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking. This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended.

Aligning the up pipe was the most difficult part. I recommend installing the heat shield last if your cab is on. Once I figured that out it went smooth. I purchased the 11 blade thinking it would have a similar whistle to factory, but it is noticeably louder. It spools faster, making it much more fun to drive.
I just picked up a 2004 6.0 from my buddy and he put the Jetfire stage 1 with the 11 blade on the truck. Paired with the blessed performance 4 inch turbo back it’s perfect to me. Sounds great and spools up fast. Will definitely recommend to everyone
Bought the KC 11 blade stage one turbo to install on my 03 6.0 while I was doing heads on it and it is a night and day difference between it and a stock unit. My pickup is a stick so turbo lag was always a pain, but KCs new 11 blade turbine spools up almost instantly, and pushes hard. Plus this thing is a rocket with a Blessed Performance 120hp tune and this turbo. The only problem I have now is my brand new LUK clutch can't hold all the power!
Awesome
