Description:

Improve your 7.3 Powerstroke engine's performance with the KC300x Stage 1 63/68 Gen 2 Turbo. This turbo features a 4" ported housing with drilled anti-surge for better flow, a 63mm 7x7 SXE style compressor wheel with extended tip technology, and a 68mm SXE style turbine wheel. The KC300x is a reliable journal bearing drop in turbo perfect for increasing your 7.3 Powerstroke's performance. 

This turbo will surprise you at how much it will wake up your 7.3! We have torture tested it for longevity, proven its capability on the dyno, and at the Race Track. The 1.0 A/R Housing is intended to cool your EGTs above 3000 RPMS, for dedicated tow rigs and daily drivers the .84 A/R Housing will provide a quicker spool and cooler EGT's below 3000 RPMs.

**We Highly Recommend adding these products for best results:**

  1. Upgrading your Up-Pipes
  2. Upgrading EBPV Pedestal 
  3. Running a Hydra Programming Chip

EXHAUST BRAKES:  We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos, these will retain the OEM feature if the vehicles calibration allows and is setup for it. We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues.  These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking.  This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended.

**These turbos come sand cast unless specifically requested. You can add a polished cover for an additional $250. Two week lead time on all polished covers**

**Our turbos are designed to fit directly in 7.3 equipped pick-up trucks. Although our turbos can drop into 7.3 equipped Vans, you will need to modify the turbo intake boot and down-pipe for proper fitment**

    Bought a kc300x and the s&b intake for my 7.3 after it ate the old turbo. New kc turbo woke the truck up a lot, spools up quicker and pulls better

    Great for daily driver

    I got the stage 1 for my 2000 f250, it gave my truck a noticeable increase in power and gave me better fuel mileage. This turbo is perfect if you’re looking to get a little more power out of your daily and still being reliable. KC’s installation instructions were very detailed and helpful. I highly recommend this turbo.

    Top quality at a fair price!!

    Ordered the stage 1 for my 02 f350 cclb srw. This turbo replaced mine that I rebuilt 4 years ago with a 360 thrust bearing and a wicked wheel. Very happy and impressed with the packaging and the quality of the product!! Looks great! Truck has cncfab 180/30 injectors, hydra w/jelibuilt tunes, 6637 filter, fuel sump, fuel bowl delete and 5” straight pipe exhaust. Have only driven it a few miles around town, but so far it’s a huge improvement! Can’t wait to hook on to something and give it a workout and see how it performs!!! Thanks again KC Turbos!!

    Installed the stage 1 with .84 a.r. on my 2002 SD with bellowed uppipes and delete pedastal. Truck already had hydra, 175/30 injectors, for 4" exhaust and intake. The new KC unit ended all turbo surge, makes boost sooner and smother than before and certainly dropped egts 150ish or so. Did the unit make the old tractor motor a rocket no but it did make it way more enjoyable to drive in all scenarios! Whether that is beating on it having fun or getting bogged down on the freeway and just being able to roll into the throttle an accelerate on with out down shifting. Overall extremely happen with the experience start to finish the KC team answered all questions before hand and shipping was fast and easy.
